A large number of the vegetables and fruits used in the kitchen are harvested in our garden. All the herbs such as parsley, chives, basil, dill, oregano are taken from our private grounds. The green salads, zucchini, tomatoes and rocket salad as well as topinambur grow in our garden.
The fence around the garden makes it so unique - it is a very ancient technique from one of the neighbouring valleys - the valley of Ulten, since we believe that the local handicraft needs to survive.
We were pretty lucky in 2008 since we could harvest an enormous amount of kiwis from our small plantation. Apples, pears and figs are also loved and appreciated by our guests.
Everybody knows how much work such a garden makes - but we think all those fresh and biological products taste so much better and we are sure our guests can tell the difference.
